Find the Pickle, Win the Prize

Long ago, when parents decorated the Christmas tree, they hung the pickle ornament last — hiding it deep in the green boughs where its dark green color made it nearly impossible to spot among the branches. When the children were finally allowed to view the tree on Christmas morning, they would begin searching for the pickle ornament with great excitement — because they knew that whoever found it would receive an extra gift for being the most observant. The Christmas Pickle tradition — known in German as the Weihnachtsgurke, or Gurken ornament — is believed to have originated in Germany, where the tradition of hiding a glass pickle ornament in the Christmas tree became a beloved family game passed down through generations. Whether your family has celebrated the Christmas Pickle tradition for years or you're about to start it for the very first time, the Miniature Christmas Pickle Ornament is the perfect addition to your tree — small enough to hide well, beautiful enough to treasure, and fun enough to become a family tradition that lasts for generations.
